Sadhaka and badhaka tattva

 In Hatha yoga, the sadhaka and badhaka tattva lay out specific sets of rules to advance your yoga practice. Heyam Dukham Anagatam Richa Grover  Heyam - to be avoided Duhkham - pain Anagatam - which has not yet come. It simply means the pain that is yet to come can be avoided.  Another popular translation is " Avert the danger that has not yet arrived ". Sufferings are part of our lives which come in a variety of forms. The pain cannot be avoided , but it can be overcome through understanding and practise of yoga. Anything that can be a cause of pain as a consequence of our present actions ,no matter how pleasurable at the moment, should be avoided. Three kinds of pain as per samkhya philosophy.
